Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Black Clots And Green Discharge In Urine When Diagnosed With UTI?
My daughter has been treated twice for a UTI, the first at the local clinic, and then at the hospital, on Sunday Night. She is still in pain, still bleeding. They have upped both her antibiotics and her pain meds. This evening when she urinated, she passed a stringy green something and some small black clots.
Hi & Welcome. I appreciated your concern for your beloved daughter.
From the symptoms described in your query, your daughter seem to be suffering from recurrent urinary tract infection apparently caused by a bacteria pseudomona aeruginosa.
I would advise you to get the urine culture and sensitivity test done so that an appropriate antibiotic be used to eradicate this drug resistant organism, A pediatric consultation is advised for proper care and follow up.
A feed back is appreciated.
