What Causes Black Colored Stool?

My Stool for the last two days have been black as coal.....I just had colonoscopy 7 months ago and it was fine Should I wait for few more days before I Call my gastrorologists? I had my large intestine taken out in 1995 because it never functioned. I have my small left attached to rectum....

Hi first get a stool examination done to confirm there is blood in it. Then call your gastroenerologist to find out the cause. Meanwhile take a course of Omeprazole because bleeding can be from stomach too--regards
