What Causes Black Discoloration On The Foot?

I have a black mark that looks like circle on the front part of my foot . It kinda hurts to bend it , but to not to bad . I can still bend , but it hurts when i curl my toes that s when i can feel the pain . I am scared it s a spider bite because it s a red mark with a black circle mark . my other family members don t think so at all , they think it s a scratch . I don t see how you can get a black circle scratch . I am scared to death right now because i don t know if it was a black widow , or some sort of scratch

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have black discoloration on the foot. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hematoma due to injury , raynaud phenomenon , or fungal infection . Also consult endocrinologist for diabetic foot . I would suggest you to give proper rest to your foot , keep your foot in hot water tub with espom salt in it for 15 minutes daily , keep it clean and dry and do not wear shoe for few days . Consult podiatrist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antifungal , drain hematoma or may refer you to endocrinologist for diabetic condition .
