What Causes Black Discoloration On The Knuckles Along With Scaly Fingers?
What causes blackening of skin--i have blackened knuckles with dry scaly skin on three fingers of proximal knuckles. No pain, no itching, started out looking bruised then got darker and dry. And i can at times peel it off, has extremely white skin underneath the peeled off dry black. I ve tried all kinds of over the counter creams. Has not been chemical or sun exposed? Any ideas? I ve had it for 9months now

This kind of skin changes are seen commonly with vitamin D 3 and vitamin B12 deficiency. So get done blood reports of vitamin B 12 and vitamin d 3. If reports are suggestive of deficiency then you will need supplements.
