So my armpit was hurting. I though it was my bra so I took it off and the pain was still there just not that much. I looked at my arm pit and I saw a black dot and thought it was an in grown hair so I squeezed it and this little black ball came out with white stuff it kinda looked like a buger but I grabbed tweezer and was sqeezing it and nothing really it didn t smell or anything my pain was gone though. What is it? Is it bad? Should I go to the doctor?
It can be just a pimple with pus that got ignored and with time it turned solid. It can also be a black head due to blocked sebaceous secretions. As far as your description is concerned, there is nothing much serious. This can happen due to sweating or dirt. Make sure you keep the area clean to avoid any future break outs. Although, I suggest you visit a doctor and get it checked just to clear your doubts as physical examination is needed for clarity.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
