General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the black eyes after head injury indicates hematoma formation via blood collection under skin which is known as RACOON SIGN. There can be underlying subdural hemorrhage in certain cases. It is best recommended to consult at an ER for better guidelines of cure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
