What Causes Black Patches On The Armpit And Legs?

Hi I m 28 yrs Male. I m 89 kgs weight and My height 166 cm. I maintaining my weight between 83 to 87 last 8 yrs. I have black patches in my underarms and legs joints. But no itching problem. how to reduce that black patches. is it symptom for any disease[Thyroid]. If i reduce my weight can i get back my old skin tone..

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Its likely that you are suffering from acanthosis nigricans. Its commonly seen in patients with diabetes , thyroid problems specially hypothyroidism , obesity and some gastrointestinal carcinomas. I suggest you should visit your physician and have complete physical examination along with lab tests like CBC, BSR levels , TSH . I suggest you to have regular exercise and diet modifications to loose weight also that will help.
