What Causes Black Sores In The Vagina While Suffering From Vaginal Infection?

I went to the doctor and she said I had a yeast infection and gave me medicine. 5 years ago I had HPV surgery. I went to the doctor two days ago with my yeast infection. now I am noticing several black sores on my labia area. they do not hurt but why wouldn t my doctor - gynecologist - have said anything about them---she checked me out for my yeast infection. should I be worried. I am 50 yr old

The black sores are nothing but fungal infection that usually happens around genitalia please apply candid derma oint locally for 15 days it will help
