What Causes Black Spot On The Hand When Diagnosed With Lupus?
Hello, i looked at my left hand today and there is a small circular black spot on the inside space between my thumb and my palm that wasnt there two days ago. I tried scrapping it off thinking it was dirt than i tried washing my hands thinking it was ink. I have lupus and am on quite a lot of medication so any change in my body is something i pay attention to. Can spots just show up in that short of a time and is t something to be concerned about?
The black spot you are describing is very likely a bruising. It is not a dangerous thing as long as it is the only spot (you do not get other ones) and it does not grow in size. It is expected that it should fade away in the next few days.
If the lesion gets bigger or new ones come up, or if you notice that the hand is very painful or have any other new symptoms please see your doctor.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
