What Causes Black Spots In The Vision While Suffering From Pineal Cyst?
My daughter has a pineal cyst 7mm x 10mm x 7mm. She is having headaches and black spots in her vision in one eye. She has gone through a complete battery of test with a opthamalogist that referred her to the neurologist that ordered the MRI. The neurologist is out on vacation till next week. Do you think the cyst is causing the vision issue? She is really scared now. She is 35 years old. Thanks.

Your daughter having pineal cyst of more than 5 mm....
So this large cyst more than five mm size can lead visual disturbance or fits. ..
So here vision problem is most likely seems here from this non malignant cyst ....
The treatment is removal of this cyst ...
It can be done with endoscopic removal also ....
