What Causes Black Stool While Suffering From Dry Cough?

good afternoon, my question is i ve had this cold for about 3 weeks now, although i feel better i still have a very very dry cough which seems to only bothers me early morning or late night, this morning i woke to back pain and my stool was black. do you think i may have the flu and should i go to the emergency room

Hello,

The drug or antibiotics you used for dry cough may cause dark stools.

Cough may be due to viral infection or due to allergic bronchitis. Avoid cool water and cool environment.

Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. Also, use tablet Monterleukast and Levocetirizine once a day after dinner may useful.

If symptoms not improved, please see a doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
