Hello,
I read your message and I understood your concern.
During
pregnancy,
vomiting is quite often and usual symptom.
Black vomit may have many causes and it means that some bleeding may be present in the bottom of stomach or
duodenum. Black color indicates for coagulated blood.
You became borderline anaemic because you slowly lost blood from your stomach which has made your red blood cells to decrease.
Now, you say to have black vomit. While vomiting, the acidic liquid of the stomach will cause laceration of upper GI tract mucosa. This continuous laceration will be associated with little bleeding. Next time you vomit, the coagulated blood in the lacerated mucosa will come out as black vomit.
If the quantity is so small and you do not have it continuously, then, there is nothing worrisome. Drink plenty of water, take good hygiene of your
oral mucosa.
If the quantity of black vomit will increase, and you'll have more frequently, then, should discuss with your doctor for further evaluations.
Blood tests must be redone and the dose of iron taken must re-evaluate.
I hope this was helpful for you.
