What Causes Blackouts While Driving?
I have had several episodes of blanking out, especially when driving. When I blank out, I feel sleepy before it happens. I have been told that I seem to jerk myself awake. Once, I blanked out and ended up on the opposite side of a two-lane street. What kind of doctor should I see for thses symptoms?

Black out happen mostly in syncopal attack, its some neurological reflex.But its unusual to happen frequent.
You have to go trough for evaluation, its very risky during driving.
1.should rule out occational hypoglycaemia, low blood suger (dont skip your meal)
