What Causes Bladder Prolapse Despite Having A Vaginal Tuck Surgery?
My mom had bladder and vaginal tuck surgery last year. Her bladder has dropped again almost to where it was before, she just got back from the dr and he said she ll probably need surgery gain, she s 83 does this surgery have to be done through the vagina like before or can bladder tucks be done laporascopically and what s the chances it will drop again
Hello dear Greetings Regarding the possible Causes of bladder prolapse following a vaginal tuck surgery i will suggest it is due to the following
Damage to the ligaments holding the bladder Damage to pelvic floor muscles
Concerning on whether the revision surgery will be done through vaginal or Laparoscopy will depend on decision of the urologist specialist which I feel you should make an appointment to determine the favorable surgical procedure
The chances that the bladder will drop again will depend on the outcome of the urologist specialist so please schedule an appointment immediately though I am very sure she will do better under the specialist care
I hope this helps Regards
