Hi,

There are few reasons to have vaginal bleeding
1. Infection in the vagina can cause bleed itself or lead to dryness and cause bleeding
2. Dryness – infection, improper foreplay, dehydration, age factor, hormonal imbalance
3. Forceful sex
4. Normal menstrual bleeding (irregular mensural cycle due to hormonal imbalance)
5. Benign or malignant polyp.
6. Foreign bodies use of sex toys
7. Bleeding disorders
8. Eczema

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
