Hi,
Thanks for asking,I understand your concern.
Duphaston is a
progesterone preparation.. it's ahormone that supports
pregnancy & avoids
abortion if taken properly at regular time without a gap.
* It seems you have excessive
morning sickness & you are thinking it to be due to Duphaston pill & want to withdraw one pill with the hope to reduce morning sickness.
- Please don't do it, for if you reduce the dose, the pregnancy support would be withdrawn & bleeding may increase to end in abortion.
I would suggest a visit & discussion with your treating gynecologist & find a way out.
-Yes, as you guess it can be
gastritis stimulated by taking Duphaston on an empty stomach So instead you can discuss with your doctor to switch on on inject-able .progesterone& withdraw the
oral pills.
Again addition of Rantidine 150 mg twice a day alon with vomiting medicine can help control vomiting.
* Please understand, morning sickness is one of the signs of pregnancy,, & it's aught to be present till you get adjusted with pregnancy hormones.
- Iv drips of normal saline/ glucose with (B1B6B12) iv injection would help you combating the stress.
Thus altering mode of medication you can easily overcome morning sickness & bleeding too.. You can digest food & nourish your baby too .. with advise & support of your doctor.
Thanks.
