What Causes Bleeding During Bowel Movement While Suffering From Chlamydia?
so I have recently been diagnosed with Chlamydia (well only yesterday to be exact) however I have been bleeding from my bowels (only when I go to the toilet) for about 6 months. Could this have anything to do with Chlamydia ?? I have has a CBC done last Nov and my iron levels and everything is perfect.
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns. I hope I have answered your query. I dont see how this could be related to Clamydia and these are probably not related symptoms. If you red blood count is fine then you should not be worried and this is probably just a single episode of rectal bleeding. If this happens again then there is probably hemorrhoids present so you should see proctologist in this case for further evaluation. Something more serious is not common in your age and at this pint there is no need to be worried about this. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
