What Causes Bleeding During Bowel Movement While Suffering From Constipation?

Hello there! My innards have been bothering me for awhile seeming to alternate between constipation and diarrhea but the other day, when I looked in the toilet, there was A LOT of blood. Liquid blood. I could barely see the bottom dent of the toilet bowl. I have never seen anything like that. Since then my innards are painful after I eat most of the time. Sometimes it is just discomfort and sometimes it is actually painful. Since the awful blood incident I haven t seen any other blood.

The description that you are giving with lots of blood and a history of constipation points towards haemorrhoids. I would have advised my patient to take plenty of fibre in diet and adequate amount of water. Having a regular well balanced diet also helps.
If the blood incident reappears or if you have severe discomfort or pain, I would suggest you to consult a surgeon.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
