Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes the problem that I am having is in 2006, I was diagnosis with breast cancer and I have been cancer free for 9 years. Well lately I have been having some bleed when I have a bowel movement. I don t know what it could be. I need to know what u might think it is.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bleeding during bowel movement which seem sto be due to hard stools, inadequate fibres in diet, constipation and anal fissures.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
- Take plenty of fluids especially drinking water along with lactulose syrup at night time.
- Take diet rich in fibres.
- Avoid taking outside food.
- Increase the vegetables and fruit content in your diet.
If symptoms keeps on persisting visit gastroenterologist once and get complete examination done and start treatment after thorough examination. Go for CT abdomen as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
