My husband is 25 and just had a Appendectomy after his appendix ruptured 2 weeks ago. He has had to be on laxatives and gas x for this whole time and yesterday he passed a harder stool that was coated in blood. Well today he past a soft stool that was bloody as well. The coloring is bright red from what I can see. He does have hemorrhoids that we know of. He also has severe sharp pains in his lower left abdomen and lower left back. Is this caused due to the surgery and hemorrhoids maybe? Also he has severe cold sweats and still can not eat. His doctor has taken two days to get back to us.
