General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

One in five pregnancies gets complicated with bleeding in the first trimester. Of these, half continue as normal. If the pregnancy will continue or not, this will depend on the cause of the bleeding but there is a 50% chance it will go on normally.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
