Otolaryngologist/ENT Doctor 's  Response
Hi,

There are several causes for sensation of blockadge in the ears associated with decreased hearing. From your brief clinical history the likely cause could be accumulated wax in the ear. It can only be confirmed by an ear examination.

Since you are saying that you saw a drop of blood on the pillow following usage of some ear drops, I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist and follow his/her advise.

Regards,
Dr. Prasad
