Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
in the morning there are various spots of yellow orange or deep orange spots on the bed where my head is located and what appears to be dried blood in my mouth when I look in the mirror. I don't have any pains or damage in my stomach or abdomen. what causes the blood?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain bleeding from mouth can be due to a number of factors like gum infection, mouth breathing irritating the already infected gums leading to gum bleeding, acid reflux, upper respiratory tract infection, sinusitis etc.. I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and in case of gum infection he can do scaling of your teeth followed by antibiotics and painkillers.. Gargle with antiseptic mouthwash and do warm saline gargles.. In case if it is due to other condition as advised above you will be referred to an appropriate physician for a proper clinical examination and treatment..
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
