I had earwax removed from my ear by a lyngologist earlier today because my ear was 95% clogged up he said. It started bleeding right after and hasn t yet stopped. Is this normal ? He gave me drops to use so i put them in and have a cotton ball in as well.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is the common symptoms of bleeding when removed the ear wax and this is happening due to trauma to inner ear wall, wax actually adhered to ear wall and it need to be separated from the wall while doing this abrasion takes place and this could cause the bleeding it is the part of procedure and it is nothing to worry because bleeding will stop very soon may not need any treatment hope this information helps.
