What Causes Bleeding From The Mouth?

hi, the past three morning I have been waking up with dark blood in my mouth, I have also notice some small clot; however, once I rinse my mouth there's no more bleeding. there has been no recent dentist visits, I make regular dentist appointments each year. the only recent change in my life lately is the death of my oldest sister.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain bleeding from mouth on waking up can be due to gum infection leading to bleeding from gums and in case if you have a habit of mouth breathing while sleeping then the possibility of bleeding gums at night time is more due to dryness and irritation of gums..
When there is infection in gums the irritation of gums can initiate bleeding..

Nothing to worry consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case if it is due to gum bleeding get the cleaning of the teeth done by the dentist known as Scaling which will clear off infection from the teeth and gums..
He may also advise you antibiotics and painkillers and antimicrobial mouthwash for faster resolution of infection..

Maintain a good oral hygiene and avoid stress..

Welcome to HCM, as per your query you have bleeding from mouth. Bleeding from mouth is mostly due to gum infection and rarely due to other reasons . In absence of proper oral hygiene , gums gets swollen and start bleeding.
So you should visit a dentist, he would tell you if there is gum infection. In case of gum infection scaling and curretage would be done.In mean while u could take metronidazole and vitamin c tablet
