Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your grandson.

As per your history the patient has a sore in his mouth, this may be the main cause of bleeding, second chance is gum infection like gingivitis.

If his sore is non healing for months this may be the cause of concern, because we don't have the picture of sore we can't provide you the proper diagnosis.

The questions you may ask to him is,
Does he cough out blood or vomit it or it is from gums?
To doctor he needs to check the sore properly, is there any swelling blow your jaw? Is bleeding coming from gums or sore.

Hope the answer to your query, write back to us further if you feel any assistance is required.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
