Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently noticed tiny blood spots on my bra and upon squeezing my nipple, found blood emerging. I saw my doctor and she recommended a mammogram and an ultrasound which I had both. The tech. said she had t he radiologist review and he said he would contact my doctor and she would contact me. I haven t heard anything since. My doc had said the radiologist would probably want to take a specimen for testing however that hasn t happened and I got the feeling it wasn t anything to worry about so I m wondering, am I right? Thanks
If there is any mass will detect in USG scan then USG guided FNAC should be taken to diagnose the cause.Treatment will depend on the test result and specific cause. So ask the radiologist and your surgeon for the above cause. Diagnosis require collaborative work of radiologist and surgeon.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
