What Causes Bleeding In The Palm And Fingers?

Hello..my fiancee just experienced blood coming out of the pores in his hand in about 8 different spots,fingers and palms. He also had a bloody nose prior to this happening and while it was occuring..what would cause this? should he go to the emergency room? I am really worried..thanks for your help

It is very unusual to bleed from the hands and palm although that coupled with a bloody nose might indicate a defect in the clotting of blood. He should have a complete blood work in a hospital and check for abnormal platelet counts and clotting factors. Take care.
