What Causes Bleeding On Right Side Of Head?

My boyfriend has been taking the shot for about 2yrs .In the last 4-5 most he has been shaking his whole body & sometimes it may be just his hands. He is alert & talking to me all the while, it has not helped any with his ed.He is 65yrs old.Out of concern he has had 2 MRI & an eeg all were normal. He had an incident. back in Sept where his truck door hit him in the head & did not break the skin. He told me about this accident 4 days later . Well the very next day he had a weak spell & Co weakness on the left side. That is when they did the 1st MRI it showed a slight bleed on the right side of his head.A neuro doctor talked with us she said that when the truck door hit his head it shifted his brain & hit a blood vessel which caused the tiny bleed. They kept him in ICU for 4 days & sent him home, but told a clot was like attached to the plaque in his caratoid. They could not do surgery until the bleeding stopped. He finally had surgery about 2wks later.Since this shaking started he has had 2 MRI. & an eeg.these were all normwe. We seen neuro doctor which started him on a starter pack of Lamotrigine which is now taking 100mg once a day, and actually don t. know what I am asking .Do you think at all the testerone would be causing any of this?

Hello,

As he had the surgery and the MRI post surgery came to be normal, you don't need to worry about the causes of shaking. Shaking also occurs in other conditions like Parkinson's disease, cerebellar dysfunction, electrolyte imbalance, anxiety, hypoglycemia or lowered blood glucose, hypotension or lowered blood pressure, chronic kidney disease or liver failure.

Testosterone is very unlikely to cause shaking of entire body. Please do continue Lamotrigine as prescribed by the neuro specialist. If still it persists, then you may need further evaluation for other above mentioned causes. Then you can discuss the same with your neurologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
