After sexual intercourse I have noticed blood on the sheets. I saw the blood and instantly threw up. This happened about a week ago. I called the nurse and they said its normal, and it sometimes happen if there is not enough lubrication. But I was very lubricated. I waited a few days and I had intercourse last night. Everything seemed fine. No blood.. But tonight after intercourse I wiped . I saw blood again. I m worried and not sure what to do
Hello, I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
A small tear in your vagina after having sex may cause bleeding. It is common after sex. Usually these tears will heal by themselves and will not cause any problem unless infected.
I suggest you to use good lubricants. Also, remember that even after using good lubricants, a rough sex can still cause tears in your vagina.
Hope this helps.
If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.
Regards, Dr.Prathap Kumar
