What Causes Bleeding Upon Urination When Diagnosed With Pulmonary Sarcoidosis
Hi There, I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Sarcoidosis in 1978. I have been bleeding upon urination for more than two weeks now. My urologist ruled out bladder & kidney cancer but does not know what is causing the bleeding. Could it be sarc related? If so, How can it be stopped?

Not usually due to sarcoidosis. But it may be due to the infection of the genitourinary system.
If I was your treating physician I would have gone for urine test and culture and sensitivity test, and if Urinary tract infection confirmed, I would have prescribed you with Nitrofurantoin if not allergic to.
Take cranberry juice too for symptomatic relief.
