What Causes Bleeding With Clots In Early Pregnancy?
I went to my doctor had to run test but just curious so my mind may be set at ease some I am currently 6 weeks pregnant have been bleeding for 3 days with what feels like on and off normal period cramping had an ultrasound yesterday and saw what would be the baby and the fluttering of its heart beating. The bleeding I not slowing down have had tiny clots like the size of from a pin hole and the largest being maybe the size of a newborns pinky finger nail. Do not fill a ultra thin pad sometimes red on the pad other times brown. Does this sound like a miscarriage or could the pregnancy possibly go on to be a healthy full term one?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Bleeding with clots with cramps during 6 weeks pregnancy needs to be taken care, as it may precipitate miscarriage. You need to take adequate bed rest and avoid all types of physical activities which causes exhaustion. Eat health food and increase your intake of water and fluids. Kindly get a trans-vaginal ultrasound scan (TVS) done to know what could be the status of the fetus and its developments. Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard with the reports for appropriate management. You may need to be supplemented with progesterone, if necessary. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
