What Causes Bleeding With Intermittent Pain On The Groin?

I am a 49 yr old female who is post menopausal. I have not had a period in close to two years. On last Thursday I started experiencing a sharp intermittent pain in my right groin. It feels like it s in the area between my pelvis and hip. Then on Sunday I began experiencing bleeding similar to a period with minor cramps. Should this be an immediate concern or should I see if it goes away?
