What Causes Bleeding With Mucous While Coughing?
Around 2 weeks ago for 4 days I was spotting bloody flem coming out when I coughed around the size of 10 pence peace maybe twice to 3 times a day. I was really scared and meaning to go doctors and it stopped. I haven t had a cold or cough my chest does feel a little tight. I have now discovered we have a rat infestation and am worried that the random blood being coughed up could be linked to leptospirosis and weils disease. Any help or info you could give me?

It may be due to excessive coughing. When you cough harder, the blood capillaries in trachea burst and lead to blood in sputum, sometimes. But if you get this on and often then kindly consider consulting your physician for further examination and investigation.
