What Causes Blister Like Growth Under The Penis Opening?
Hi i have developed what looks like a blister right under my penis head i seemed to have popped it the first day i seen it by rubbing it with a towel no discharge came out and on the first day it seemed to be white at least at the tip of it also seemed like a decent bit of what i thought was smegma so once it popped it remained and looked more like a ulcer so now 4 days into this it now looms like a blister again i have been rubbing the blister with some creme that was antifungal for about 3 days now but havent noticed a difference ive made an appointment ro get tested but would still like to talk and get some opinions
I'm not sure if this blister/ulcer is painful or not, but especially if it is, your description may suggest a herpes infection. I think it is a good idea that you made an appointment since often they can diagnosis it just by the appearance of it, and if needed can take a swab to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
