What Causes Blister Like Sores Causing Burning Sensation All Over Body?

I have sores all over my body, they start deep within, first it is a extremely painful burning sting like someone is poking a needle from inside out, then a red blotch appears on my skin, that turns into a blister that has a brown spot in the middle. it then begins to itch, if you touch it it starts to burn and swell. the worst part is they don t heal have had this problem for over 2 years , cannot find a doctor who will take the time to help me, I feel like it is slowly killing me. The latest thing is a very painful sting in my rectum with white puss oozing out ( sorry gross). I have seen 3 dermatologists, 2 different Primary doctors, the emergency room 4 times, no one will help. I went to the ER 3 days ago and the doctor said it is systemic. What did he mean by that?

Hello,

Blister like sores causing burning sensation all over the body is commonly due to herpes simplex virus. It can also cause genital herpes. It is spread by direct contact.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist, get HSV done as a swab test, blood test, or lumbar puncture. Other tests may include PCR, STD tests, etc. If your tests are positive you will be treated with antivirals like acyclovir, famciclovir, etc.

Genital herpes may develop sores or blisters on the buttocks or around the rectum. Red wounds on or around the anus may cause pain, discomfort & burning.

Left untreated genital herpes may cause swollen lymph nodes in the groin. Avoid sex till you are under treatment. It is contagious. Get treated at the earliest. You can apply Acyclovir topical cream on the affected parts for relieve.
