Hi..
Thanks for your query..
As per your complain it seems as if you have Herpes Infection as Cold sores is a trademark sign for
Herpes Simplex infection..
If it happened for the first time it is called Primary Cold Sore Infection..
It is also characterized by blisters on the mouth, lips, inside the mouth, gums and throat..
It may also causes swelling in tonsils and
sore throat..
Body ache,
muscle pain and malaise are also signs of Herpes infection.
I would suggest you to see a physician soon before the symptoms gets worse and clinical evaluation can confirm whether it is really herpes or not..
What you can do at home is:
Keep yourself well hydrated.. consume plenty of fluids to avoid
dehydration..
Keep your mouth clean.. You can use mouthwash along with brushing of teeth..
If lips are involved keep them well lubricated to avoid scratchy or dried out feeling..
Mostly an
antiviral medicine can help to reduce the symptoms if taken at early stage..
Now a days antiviral ointments are available to apply directly over the blisters..
You can also relieve your pain by taking painkillers like Ibuprofen if you are not allergic to it..
SEE A DOCTOR SOON FIRST..
Thanks and regards..
