Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yesterday I noticed a blister on the side of my hand. I thought it was from a splinter but when I popped it I couldn t see any slivers. I also had three small blisters on my fingers that I thought were from possibly ant bites. I also noticed I had some sores on my scalp. That hadn t happened before. This afternoon I noticed tingling and tenderness in my hands and feet. Any idea what if causing this
You say to have notices a blister on the side of your hand and on your fingers. It could be of great help if you could send a photo of the affected area.
The blisters could be due to allergy reaction to any outside allergen (new detergent used, or any other chemical); insect bite. As you are having soreness in your scalp, then, I think it's a case of parasite infestation. A close evaluation of the affected area and for parasites by dermatologist is highly recommended.
Meanwhile, I advise to: - wash your hands with warm water and antibacterial soap - apply antibiotic ointment locally mixed with anti-itching cream (e.g. Promethazine)
Wish fast recovery.
