What Causes Blisters Inside The Lips After Taking Imiquimod?

I just started the treatment of Imiquimod. I have had four days of treatment so far, I apply this on my bottom exterior of my lip and I am getting blisters on the interior of the lip its really red and burns Is this normal? The biggest problem is I live in AZ I am in the sun and try to stay in the shade. Do you have any other suggestions doing this treatment when living in the extreme heat?

you are sensitive to imiquimod. stop taking it and can apply caladryllotion and take levocetrizine 5mg in morning.in future avoid taking it. it is taken to treat genital wart and superficial basal cell carcinoma.consult onchologist for alternative drug.
