What Causes Blisters On Scars Caused By An Injury?

I was in an automobile accident over 14 years ago where I sustained severe injuries to my right leg. I have numerous scars on my knee as well as other areas on my leg. however, today I noticed that the scar tissue is starting to blister up. Is this something I should worry about or will it go down?

Hi, welcome to HCM,
'Blistering' up is probably development of Keloids. Consult a dermatologist and if he agrees that the lesions are keloids, Laser treatment will help--regards
