General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A diaper rash may sometimes get infected. The fact that it started as a diaper rash and now it is blistering and spreading on the body warrants a visit with the doctor as soon as possible. A bacterial infection has to be ruled out, especially S.aureus infection.
Antibiotics would be necessary in case a bacterial infection is the cause of her symptoms.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
