Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your query blisters over the
palate can be due to causes like
throat infection caused by bacteria or virus, canker sores,
herpes virus infection causing cold sores,
allergic reaction to any food or medication etc..
As the blisters have resolved but you still have pain and difficulty in swallowing, you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination and investigations like throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can continue doing gargles with numbing mouthwash like Orajel and can also do warm saline gargles..
Take anti inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen..
Avoid hard and spicy foods..
Drink plenty of water and other bland fluids..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
