What Causes Blisters Under The Nostrils After Septoplasty?
I had septoplasty with bilateral turbinate reduction 5 days ago. I have had a constant ooze and drip from both nostrils. I have changed out my gauze pad every 30min to 1 hr and am using bacitracin ointment in each nostril. I also so sinus rinses. Upon waking this morning, I have developed multiple small liquid filled blisters like bumps under each nostril and across my upper lip. I assume this is from the moisture of the nasal drips on the gauze. These pustuals itch horrible and now my ears and throat are itching as well. I am taking benadryl and claritin. Any suggestions?

Hi,
This must be infection please start with tablet Augmentin BD for 5 days, tablet Rablet BD also keep the area dry. Put Drez powder on that if its is too itchy take tablet Cz3 once.
