What Causes Bloating, Abdominal Pain, Gas And Heartburn When Diagnosed With Duodenal Ulcer?

the doctor has diagnosed I am having duodenal ulcer. I have fullness of stomach, pain on the sides, heartburn, and after getting in the morning moderate giddiness sometimes with feeling of slight gassiness. The doc s prescription is - Rajocid- DSR one tab in the morning and Sucral D before meal. And then I take two tablets of Digene on my own two times because I feel good after taking them. I have been taking these medicines for about 3 months. The effect is very slow. Do you think the prescription is right or do you advise seeing another doctor. I am 75 year old man. Duodenal ulcer needs lifestyle modifications along with drugs for better symptomatic relief.
In my opinion, you should start combination of pantoprazole and levosulperide twice daily on empty stomach. This will give you more benefits then current drugs.
Lifestyle modifications like
1. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
2. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
3. Go for walking after meals. Loose weight if you are obese.
4. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.
5. Keep 2-3 pillows under head in bed.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
