What Causes Bloating And Foul Smelling Gas While On Enfamil Gentlease Formula?
Hi my 3 month old has recently been taken off breastmilk and has been on enfimal gentlease formula for two weeks now! He is seems irritable, fussy and crying! Has a bloated belly and very stinky bad gas!! I can feel gas bubbles in his tummy! He also started pooping two days ago grey white stool! Should l be concerned and go to emergency? or take him to the doctor? or is this a normal thing its my first baby?
I think your 3 month old baby is having tummy disturbances due to formula milk although it was gentlease. To me, should see his pediatrician as soon as possible. Stop the formula milk you just started, and change to another one according to his age. Give probiotics to stabilize his intestinal flora.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
