What Causes Bloating, Intermittent Stomach Pain And Constipation?
i am a 50 year old male and have been experiencing a bloating feeling and intermittent stomach pain for the last week. my bowel movement pattern has changed, not as regular, and harder, pellets of stool. I started taking metmucil yesterday but nothing has changed yet

It could be a dyspeptic symptom or irritable bowel disease (IBD). As of now, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Laxatives like lactulose or cremaffin can also be tried.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
