What Causes Bloating, cramping And Pain In The Stomach?

I am a 67 year old female Nevada resident. I have been experiencing fullness, bloating and pain in the my lower right side. The pain in my side is not consistent, but when it occurs it feels like menstrual pain. I had a hysterectomy in my forties. This has been going on for the past 2-3 weeks. I get full after a couple of bites and sometimes experience a little nauseous feeling after eating very small amounts. M energy level is also lower than normal for me. I am new to the area and have not selected a doctor just yet. Are these symptoms something that I should be concerned about with any degree of urgency.

Hello,

You need to get evaluated doing an abdominal ultrasound and stool test. Sometimes parasite infection may be the cause of frequent cramping and indigestion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
