What Causes Block When Breathing?

I had closed septorhinoplasty with IT reduction for nasal deformity on April 12th. The doctors did not remove the calcification overlying the left lateral crus of LLC. It is blocking my breathing. Why would they not remove this and how long do I have to wait to get it corrected? Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management nasal decongestant like xylometazoline can be tried. Steam inhalation will be helpful to open up clogged sinuses. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
