What Causes Blockage In Arteries Of Temporal Lobe?

Hi I had a bad fall in July of last year, and in November lost all taste and smell. Have had ct scan and just recently MRI. Only problem is slight blockage in small arteries in right temporal lobe. Conclusion was a small area of encephalomalacia and giliosis in the right temporal lobe. When I did fall it was backwards onto tile floor to the back of my head. Stepped into my long PJ!s.
