What Causes Blockage In Duct Of A Child?
My grandson is 7 years old and has a swollen gland in his neck,we brought him to urgent care clinic and they said it s a blocked duct. and has a low fever. they said to bring him to his doctor tomorrow to have it checked out. is this normal for a child that age to have?

this duct stenosis may occur in paediatric age group.
mostly affects submandibular gland.due to thick secretion and antigravity drainage.
consult a head neck surgeon for specific management.
